Collectors love the stories behind their favorite characters. When writing copy for a collector's product, it's not enough to regurgitate a hero's origin story, or restate the blurb from a classic piece of packaging. I try to capture something new about the essential nature of each character, to give collectors something truly special (and to give them a reason to buy their favorite character for the hundredth time). Our technicolor heroes inhabit expansive universes that draw fans in; every expression, even packaging, should add to those universes and deepen the fan experience.
