Case studies are a powerful tool in any B2B market, but nowhere are they more critical than in the automation industry. For decades, manufacturers and logistics businesses have heard promise after promise about what robots will do for them, and for decades the reality of automation has passed most of them by. Today, they demand proof rather than promises. The most powerful proof always comes in the voice of a customer. My very first priority for any automation client is to build relationships with their best customers, so that I can produce a case study as quickly as possible.
Tutor Intelligence & Productiv
I built the case study production process for Tutor Intelligence, wrote the creative brief, shotlist, and interview questions, and acted as creative director for both the video and written versions of this case study. Limited contract hours with Tutor gave me the opportunity to implement an AI-enabled content syndication workflow to produce the written version of the case study. Claude produced a draft from raw interview transcripts, which I edited and rewrote heavily. This video was shot and edited by Dominic Costa. The written version of the case study was designed by Christian Lownds.
Rapid Robotics & Behrens
I produced this case study with Behrens Manufacturing in Winona, MN for Rapid Robotics. I wrote the creative brief, developed the shot list and interview questions, and handled publication and promotion of this video, as well as coordinating with the folks at Behrens. This video was shot and edited by Visual Aid.
Rapid Robotics & TopcoN
This case study was written by Chris Antonowich, based on an interview I conducted with Robert Kennedy at Topcon, a creative brief I wrote, and data I gathered. The design was done by Superside under my direction.
