One of the greatest challenges many recent robotics startups serving manufacturing and logistics face is helping their customers understand and justify the Robotics-as-a-Service model. Manufacturers and logistics businesses are used to thinking of equipment exclusively in terms of high-cost capital expenditure, rather than as something they can easily and without risk scale up and down on an as-needed basis. I wrote this booklet (designed by Jaime Chong) to use as a convention and sales enablement asset. More than one Rapid customer was convinced by this simple booklet that RaaS was the right approach for them.
