In January 2020, I was invited to Wooga Games in Berlin to give a seminar and workshop on the use of story in building a lasting brand. Building the presentation was a great challenge. I’ve been working in brand development and storytelling for nearly 20 years, but never before have I had to articulate my philosophy or methodology. This was a wonderful opportunity to think deeply about why the way we tell stories sticks in the mind, and how it functions to build an emotional connection between audience and brand.
On January 17, 2020 I gave a presentation at Wooga Games in Berlin on storytelling in marketing, and how with thoughtfulness, consistency, and a little bit of luck, marketers can use storytelling to turn their brand into something meaningful and long lasting.
