As Rapid Robotics’ Director of Brand Narrative, I built a robust, productive content program from scratch. With freelance support, I was able to produce a ton of content in a very short time, including nearly a dozen white papers for various audiences and use cases. These white papers were used at trade shows as printed handouts, were offered by our PR agency to media outlets as evidence of our expertise and hooks for stories, and drove leads as gated assets on our website and social media channels. I wrote the briefs for these assets, did much of the research, edited the copy & directed the design, as well as handling publishing, promotion, and syndication. Here are a few of the best.

9 Reasons You Shouldn’t Automate Palletizing (and Why They’re Wrong)

This white paper addresses the most common objections and questions the Rapid Robotics sales team heard from customers, ranging from general concerns about the risks of robots to specific questions about how fast manufacturers would see ROI from automating palletizing. It was written by Denise Boyd and designed by Superside.

Capex vs. raas: the true cost of owning robots

Robotics-as-a-Service is still a new and poorly understood business model, especially in manufacturing. That, combined with the fact that many American manufacturers underestimate the complexity of integrating robots, and overestimate robots’ capabilities, leads them to try a DIY approach that frequently fails. This white paper directly addresses the true risks and costs of the DIY approach in an attempt to educate the Rapid Robotics audience about the real value of RaaS. I wrote the creative brief, did most of the research, and edited the copy. The white paper was written by Chris Antonowich and designed by Superside with art direction by Jaime Chong.

the state of manufacturing automation 2022

In 2022, Rapid Robotics commissioned a survey of American manufacturers’ attitudes towards and readiness for automation. The resulting report was packed with insightful data that we wanted to share with our audience in the most compelling manner possible. I worked with Superside to create a designed version of the report, including a batch of data visualizations that we were able to use over and over again in other pieces of content, social posts, and more.
