Pay-per-click advertising on search and social media is a critical lead generation and brand awareness tool, especially for B2B tech brands operating in crowded and confusing markets. In manufacturing automation there are a lot of start-ups that make a lot of promises (and a lot of noise) without actually understanding what it is their customers are actually looking for. In order the help Rapid Robotics stand out from its competition and generate high quality leads, I developed the concepts and wrote the copy for these ads for a campaign focused on palletizing, based on market research I conducted and conversations I had with customers. It’s an opportunity to develop a deeper emotional connection with your audience by further building out the story around the brand. In the case of Hasbro’s short-lived brick brand Kre-O, we wanted to differentiate ourselves from the most obvious competitor, build the core brand, and grab the attention of fans of other Hasbro brands seeing a new expression in brick form.
